SAInterface
is the program that interfaces our SAEnCompass clinical
software to business applications.
- A standard Windows application that normally
resides on a network computer.
- Both a server and
client application with respect to the business application.
- Provides direct
communication through designated server and client ports and can be
initiated by either program.
- As a client, sends information to or requests
information from the business application.
- As a server, automatically
receives information or requests for information from the business application.
Our SAEnCompass clinical software also
communicates with SAInterface.
- When SAEnCompass initiates
a message to the business computer, a message request is written to a database
table.
- The SAInterface application monitors this table and handles
these message requests using HL7 message protocol.
Several of our SAEnCompass clients are currently
using this interface to communicate with other vendors’ financial programs.
Using this interface protocol, we are capable of communicating with any
financial program that is willing to cooperate in establishing the ability to
send messages to and receive messages from the interface.
